Alan and Sandra's 20 years in Malawi

As I have become more personally familiar with the church, ministry, and everyday struggles of these missionaries, I am reminded of Paul’s exhortations in 2 Corinthians 4.  Alan and Sandra ’continually set forth the truth plainly’ and ‘do not preach themselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord and themselves as servants for Jesus sake’.  They know what it is to be ‘hard pressed on every side but not crushed; perplexed but not in despair; persecuted but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. They always carry around in their body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed’.

The life of Jesus is indeed being revealed across Malawi as the grace that is reaching more and more people causes thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Congratulations on 20 years in Malawi, your light and momentary troubles are achieving an eternal glory that far outweighs them all!

Let us continue to pray for the Lord’s blessing on their lives as they continue to lay down their lives for sake of the Gospel.
